Computer Basics (Evening) Never used a computer before? Come and learn the basics at your pace.  Class will provide an introduction to using the mouse and keyboard.  Other topics covered include instruction on working with windows, a discussion of computer technology and Troubleshooting Tips with proper shutdown procedures    30 hours / 5 weeks: Tuesday and Thursdays  $125

Intro to Microsoft Excel (Evening) Learn the basic principles, data entry and workbook navigation.  Excel data management and common functions and financials are included.    30 hours/10 weeks:  Wednesday $125

Quick Book Basics (Evening) Learn to use this popular computerized accounting package to track the financial activity of a small business.   Includes banking, accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, inventory, billing and customer data management.   30 hours/10 weeks:  Wednesday $200

Solidworks (Evening) Introduces new users to the Solidworks tools and basic modeling techniques.    Class will provide the student with an understanding of Solidworks, including the creation of parts, assemblies and drawings.    30 hours/10 weeks: Wednesday $265

AutoCAD (evening) Students will be introduced to toolbars and menus, starting new projects, drawing set up, layer command control, creating symbols, dimensioning, placing text annotation, x-reference, paper space, adding/editing attributes, printing and plotting.   30 hours/10 weeks: Wednesday $265.00

Welding (Day) This 900 hour program is designed for the adult student to learn the fundamentals of the welding field. The student will learn:  Introduction to safety, Shielded Metal Arc Welding/Stick, Theory of operation, Electrode Selection, welding Positions, Joint Design and Fit MIG, TIG, Oxyacetylene, Blue Print and Symbols reading.  Forklift training is also available.  American Welders Society (ACW) certification is available. Funding may be available through the Careerlink. PA State Approved.  Clearances required. Call for additional information.

Welding (Evening) Consists of four 50 hour sessions or a 200 hours. These courses are designed to assist individuals in understanding the fundamentals of electric arc welding. Introduction includes: Safety; Shielded Metal Arc Welding/Stick Welding; Theory of operation; Electrode Selection; Welding Positions; Joint Design and Fit MIG, TIG, Oxyacetylene, Blueprint and symbols reading. Funding may be available through the Careerlink. PA State Approved.  Forklift training available. Classes held on Tuesday and Thursday -cost is $575 per every 50 hours.

 

HVAC (Day) This 900 hour program is designed for the adult student to learn the fundamentals of the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation field. The student will learn:  Theory and Practical skills, introduction to safety, basic electricity, various heating & air conditioning units, refrigeration and sheet metal fabrication.  Students may become certified in EPA 608 and MACS 609 refrigerant.  Forklift training is also available.  Clearances required.  Call for additional information.

HVAC (Evening) This program consists of five 50 hours sessions or 250 hours. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industries covered. Learn to service residential and light commercial. Theory and Practical Learning of the following: electricity, various heating units & air conditioning units, refrigeration and sheet metal fabrication. (Basic materials included)  Become EPA608 and EPA609 Certified.  Forklift training available. . Funding may be available through the Careerlink. PA State Approved.  Forklift training available.  Classes held on Tuesday and Thursday-cost is $575 per every 50 hours

Machine Technology (Day) This 900 hour program is designed for the adult student to learn the fundamentals of the Machine Production trade.  The student will learn use of manual and computerized machine equipment to cut, mill, grind or shape metal and non-metal materials.  Students will also learn traditional or on more advanced equipment.  Clearances required.  Call for additional information

Blueprint Reading Basics (Evening)  This course is a 12 hour class designed to teach individuals to learn to properly read construction blueprints.  Some topics included in the class are principles of drawing; construction symbols; reading residential and commercial plans.  12 hours/2 weeks:  Tuesday and Thursday $50.00

Basic Household Wiring (Evening)  Learn the proper methods of performing repair and new residential wiring as prescribed aby the National Electric Code.   This course explores the fundamental concepts of electrical safety; device boxes; conductors and cables and troubleshooting.  30 hours/10 weeks:  Wednesday $200

PA State Inspection Class (Evening) Evening course for passenger cars, light trucks, motorcycles and heavy duty vehicles.  Class will consist of classroom and hands-on instruction.  Participants must have valid driver’s licenses. Total time is 12 hours; 3 nights plus tactile hours.   Tuesday and Thursday Costs:  $170 for Category 1; additional $40 for Category 2; $40 test and $40 tactile for Category 3.

PA State Inspection Recertification Review (Evening)  This course is 3 hour and is designed as a basic refresher course to assist in preparation of the PA State Inspection exam. Cost $35

Certified Nurse Aid (Evening) Learn the skills necessary to work in a long term care, acute care, home care or private duty facility. This is a 120 hour class which includes theory and clinical experience included. Requirements: Physical Exam, 2-step manteaux TB test, PA Criminal Check, FBI Criminal Check, if a non-resident or lived in PA for less than two years. This class is PA State approved. Cost is $595 + $56 for books

Cosmetology (Day) An instructional program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills related to experiences in a variety of beauty treatments including hair, skin, and hands.   Students will lean techniques of hair styling, setting, cutting, dyeing, tinting and bleaching; permanent waving, facials, manicuring and hand and arm massaging.   Call for more information.

Nail Technician (Day)   Learn the art of nail technology and earn your hours for a state license as a manicurist.   This 200-hour course includes instruction in all aspects of nail care including application and removal of artificial mail and nail tips, various manicure and pedicure treatments, hand and feet massage techniques and all safety and sanitation measures.    Call for more information

Master Teacher of Cosmetology (Day)  This course is designed to help others to become a cosmetologist.  As a Master Teacher you will be able to teach other the skills necessary to be a cosmetologist.    The student will be able to sit for licensing by the State Board of Cosmetology after completion of 500 hours AND successful completion of the Master Teacher of Cosmetology program. A current cosmetologist license is required to take the teacher licensing exam.   Call for more information
