Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education (or co-op) is the Fayette CTI’s largest and longest-running work-based learning program. Co-op is supplementary to the student’s vocational training program. Students who are on co-op begin to transition into the workforce, receiving most training with an employer in the student’s chosen field. This paid training allows students to begin their career as early as midway through their junior year, while attending the CTI once weekly or bi-weekly and continuing to earn their program certifications and credit towards graduation.
