Learning Facilitators

At Fayette County Career and Technical Institute (FCCTI), we are committed to supporting all students in achieving success in their chosen programs of study. Our Learning Facilitators work closely with FCCTI staff and our sending school districts to ensure that each student receives the appropriate support services tailored to their individual needs.

Our goal is to foster student participation in the planning of their training, as well as in their transition to the workforce, post-secondary education, or military service. The Special Education Department at FCCTI provides services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and PA Chapter 14, focusing on the student's primary educational needs rather than their specific disability category.

To support student success, a variety of related services may be offered, at the FCCTI or the high school including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing services, audiology, counseling, and family training. These services are designed to ensure that all students can fully participate in and benefit from their educational experiences at FCCTI.
