Program Overview
This program is focused on Agriculture Production, which includes science and systems of the following: plants and soil; agribusiness; large and small animals; biotechnology; food products and processing; environmental and natural resources; and power, structural, and technical systems. The program combines classroom and lab instruction, leadership experiences through the FFA organization, and practical work skills through a Supervised Agricultural Experience. Students will gain knowledge of and through all of the above areas while focusing on their personal area of interest. Through practical application and community partnerships, students will be exposed and guided into career opportunities. Program graduates will be prepared to secure positions in a wide range of agricultural-related industries and also be prepared to operate and manage their own agricultural enterprises.
